  1. We believe in the worship of one Almighty God who is revealed to us as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
  2. We believe that by faith alone in Jesus Christ, we are brought from death to life, being born again by His grace.
  3. We believe that the Word of God that has been given to mankind is the revealed wisdom of God for our good.
  4. We believe in the atoning sacrifice of Christ on the cross: Dying in our place, paying the price of sin, defeating evil & reconciling us to God.
  5. We believe in the bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ, His ascension to the Father, and His reign and mediation as the only Saviour of the world.
  6. We believe in the ministry of God the Holy Spirit, who leads us to repentance, unites us with Christ, empowers our discipleship and enables our witness.
  7. We believe that the Church is a living, spiritual house, made up of people who have chosen to follow Jesus.
  8. We believe that the Church is both the body & bride of Jesus Christ — given life by the Spirit and enriched with the Spirit’s gifts to worship God, proclaim the gospel & stand for justice.
  9. We believe that Baptism follows a new step of faith in Christ where possible. It is both symbolic & significant. An outward expression of inward change for the believer & public affirmation of God’s delight in His Son / Daughter.
  10. We believe that prayer is God’s given tool to communicate with Him & a foundation stone for everyone who puts their faith in Jesus.
  11. We believe the Lord’s Supper to be an expression of worship for the Church family & regularly done in remembrance of Jesus, until He returns. It is both symbolic & significant, celebratory & intimate.
  12. We believe in the personal and visible return of Jesus Christ to fulfil the purposes of God, who will raise all people to judgement, bring eternal life to the redeemed and eternal condemnation to the lost, and establish a new heaven and new earth.

In line with those things, wherever we are gathered, we believe that New Life Community Church is called to be:

  2. A place where His word is revered & faithfully proclaimed.
  3. A place that earnestly desires & practices the spiritual gifts for the building up of each follower of Jesus.
  4. A place where the Lord’s supper is regularly shared in remembrance of Jesus.
  5. A place that faithfully Baptises believers in accordance with God’s word.
  6. A place where relationship with God & one another is highly valued.
  7. A place where prayer is at the heart of all that we do.
  8. A place that is incredibly generous as God has been so with us.
  9. A place that is concerned about Social Justice & is a champion for the poor.
  10. A place that is committed to the discipleship of one another.
  11. A place that is passionate about developing leaders who will live out their calling for Jesus.
  12. A place that is fully committed to the mission of Jesus.
