The branch is simply our church on the high street!

We rented a shop in April 2019 with a vision of serving the needs of Fordingbridge town and surrounding villages through events and programmes that meet practical & emotional needs of the community.

We are currently open:

Tuesday: 10-4pm

The Branch

Would you like to volunteer at the Branch?

We would like to invite anyone who might be interested in volunteering to check out the following roles available at the Branch Cafe:
• Branch Barista (Making & serving coffee from our new coffee machine- full training programme included)
• Branch Befriender (Making people welcome & listening to individuals as they come in to The Branch) The Branch will be moving to opening Tues, Weds, Thurs from 10am-3pm & Friday 11-3pm as soon as the team are ready to go live!

Our heart is to serve the local community with fresh coffee and delicious cake but also have people here to receive people and listen & care for them. We will be working alongside other agencies in the area to help support individuals with the support they may need, who can come to Branch on dedicated days.

About & Team

New Life Community Church (NLCC), after careful consideration and prayer we felt encouraged to rent a premises on the high street in Fordingbridge, we opened the branch April 2019.

We love the towns and communities that we serve. We want to be a beacon of light & we had this great opportunity on the Fordingbridge high street, to create a place where anyone can come and take shelter and chat and take part in any of our activities and programmes.

The branch is currently undergoing a transformation to become a café, we are hoping to launch on the 4th February, once all our wonderful volunteers have been trained up.

Our pastoral team Paul Williams and Dale Kratzke are based in the offices at the branch.

What’s on

Monday – Maternal Journal 10.30am – Journaling for women of all ages

Tuesday – GAME ON 1-2.30pm – Come along & grab a cuppa and enjoy a board game – Donation of £1.50pp (Till the end of January)

Wednesday – Welcome Wednesday 10-12pm – Come along & enjoy a slice of cake & coffee – Donation of £1.50pp (Till the end of January)

Friday – Little Buds 9.30-11am – Free Postnatal group for new parents & carers with little ones not yet on the move.

Sunday – Youth meet on the 1st & 3rd evenings of the month, please contact the church office if you would like to connect

Community

NLCC and The Branch are here to serve our community- whether it’s someone to talk to, one of our courses or events or access to foodbank vouchers please feel free to pop in.

We also work alongside some brilliant people who make a huge difference to The community of Fordingbridge.

Fordingbridge Foodbank is part of the Trussell Trust and is open 3 days a week and led by David and a group of volunteers. We can issue Foodbank vouchers from the branch after a few questions regarding your personal circumstances.
